The Next Epic Cycles Social/Training Ride - Devil RiDE Test run 20th July

The next in our regular series of shop based social rides will be in August (date TBC) at 10am - the ride will take around 2 hours, covering 30-35 miles on quiet roads, starting and finishing at Epic Cycles, with free tea/coffee and cake at the end. 

But before then we are getting together in Builth Wells for a test run of the Devil Ride cyclosportive route (cut down a bit to make it do-able with a lunch stop included!). Details are on the Epic Cycles RC blogsite.

The idea of our rides is to combine a social outing with a bit of light training.  The pace is a bit steadier than on a standard club ride, but isn't a dawdle either, and the length makes for a decent workout but still gets you back in time for lunch.  And no-one will be left behind.  The route for the next ride is shown below.

If you fancy coming along, just turn up at the shop and we will introduce you to the ride leader.  Some riders drive out and take it from there, as we have plenty of parking, while others ride out and incorporate the social side into a longer training ride of their own.  The choice is yours...
