In redesigning their all-round ultralight road bike, the Specialissima, Bianchi considered not just the climbs where light weight bikes need to excel, but also the roads a rider encounters before and after. The new Specialissima needed to perform on long flat valley roads and adrenalin-pumping descents, as well as be ultra-light and reactive on the climbs – and to that end, its frame and components have also been re-engineered for aero optimisation. The result is a bike that outperforms the previous generation Specialissima both aerodynamically and in climbing terms. Bianchi are rightly proud of the Specialissima that has resulted – a next generation all-rounder without compromise!
