We’re very excited to be hosting the start of the Blaenau 600 on June 11th – a brand new self-supported bikepacking event, taking in a grand tour of the Shropshire and Welsh uplands (Blaenau translates as ‘remote uplands’ we’re told), the Blaenau 600 will follow a spectacular and challenging 600km route, with a pizza party for all finishers back at the store on the 14th.
Non competitive, and not for profit, riders will carry trackers so we can all follow their progress on FollowMyChallenge.
Entries are open right now, but won’t be for long as the event is limited to just 30 riders to keep it small and friendly.
For more info and to register for the event please visit the event page here: Blaenau 600
The event is being organised by The Cross Cartel, which is registered with Cycling UK, and run by staff members here at Epic Cycles.
