KingPin Suspension: Revolutionary, super-light suspension that lets you ride harder on dirt and more smoothly on pavement with nothing sacrificed. Up to 30mm of suspension, without the weight and complexity of a shock or linkages.
A special thru-axle pivot in the seat tube allows engineered flex zones in the rear triangle and top tube to do their magic, absorbing bumps and vibration and improving comfort, traction and control whether you’re seated or standing.
Big Tyre Clearance: The Cannondale Topstone Carbon comes as standard with 700x37c tyres (with clearance out back for some 40c tyres, depending on the brand/model, and up front for 43c) for grip, low weight and rolling efficiency. But with a wheel swap it can take 650x47c tyres if big volume, extra grip and wide is your thing – with additional agility thrown in for good measure. So if you want to switch, then go ahead!
Keep Dry: The Topstone Carbon is fully mudguard ready. A removable mudguard bridge on the rear stays is there when you need it, gone when you don’t.
Carry That Gear: Plenty of places to store gear and water, with a multi-position mount on the downtube, and more on the top tube, seat tube, and under the down tube. There’s even mounts on the forks.
Speed Release Equipped: Speed Release thru-axles offer the stiffness and solid feel of a thru-axle, with the easy use of a quick release axle. In fact, wheel removal and replacement is far faster than with any conventional quick release (rim brake) skewer. Compatible with most thru-axle wheelsets.
Asymmetric Integration (Ai): An offset rear triangle and drivetrain shifts the rear hub and drivetrain 6mm to the right, delivering super short chainstays & a rear wheel that is dramatically stiffer and stronger because the spoke tension and angles are equal on both sides – offering incredible traction, stiffness and agility.
