Gusto GTR
All-New Aero Endurance Race Bike
The Gusto GTR is a fast aerodynamic road bike built for distance. The GTR offers a smooth and exceptionally planted ride that makes it ideal for anyone looking for a high performance bike, especially if they have long days in the saddle or rough back lanes in mind.
Offering remarkable value for money, every GTR model comes equipped with a full electronic Shimano groupset, deep carbon wheels and carbon finishing kit
Our Verdict
Like its stablemate, the Cobra Evo, the Gusto GTR is a thoroughbred race-ready machine, but one designed for a slightly different kind of riding.
While the Cobra Evo is intended as a lightweight all-rounder, with an emphasis on blistering acceleration and fast-handling agility, the GTR is designed with a longer wheelbase for nailed-on stability when you are beginning to tire at the end of a long day in the saddle, clearance for wider tyres, and a slightly higher front end that delivers a more relaxed riding position.
Make no mistake, the Gusto GTR is every inch a reactive and aerodynamic racing bike – just one designed with distance in mind – it still picks up speed and holds it brilliantly!
The GTR is constructed from Gusto’s patented high-modulus carbon fibre layup that incorporates vibration absorbing Innegra – and you really can feel the difference. The GTR delivers a beautiful blend of responsiveness and comfort, without the tiring road buzz that can be a drawback with stiff hi-mod carbon fibres.
Gusto have done it again with the GTR – the value for money for such a high quality bike and ride is market leading. As with the Cobra Evo, the only area we’d want to upgrade immediately is the tyres, so we are again offering a range of exceptionally low-cost tyre upgrade packages with the GTR.

Gusto are unique in the cycling world for their use of a carbon fibre composite that incorporates Innegra, the world’s lightest synthetic fibre. Innegra is widely used in high-performance applications where vibration absorption and durability are paramount, from automotive components to lightweight safety gear and elite sporting equipment .
When bonded with ultra-high-modulus (UHM) carbon fibre and latex in Gusto’s patented layup, the result is a lightweight frameset that strikes the ideal balance between stiffness and vibration damping. The outcome? Bikes that are highly responsive, as you’d expect from UHM fibres but without excess feedback from road vibrations.

All GTR models feature carbon wheels, a one-piece carbon cockpit and a balded carbon seatpost. The UCI-certified Attaque Carbon Wheelset uses a 50mm aerodynamic rim profile, bladed spokes, and precision-engineered shaping to reduce drag and accelerate airflow.

The Attaque carbon integrated cockpit complements the GTD’s frame design, with optimised grip angles, compact reach, and a streamlined, wing-shaped form that perfectly blends aerodynamics and ergonomics. The handlebar comes with an out-front computer mount, which is compatible with Garmin/Bryton/Wahoo cycling computers and GoPro cameras.

Fully integrated cable routing, air-flow channels in the fork, headtube, down tube and seat tubes, profiled dropped seat stays, and a wide-stance fork further enhance aerodynamic performance across all areas of the frameset.

Developed with constant testing and feedback from professional race teams – including the Tadej Pogačar-backed Pogi-Gusto Team – the Gusto GTR certainly lives up to being a ‘Grand Tour Racer’.
The Gusto GTR incorporates modern features, such as a UDH mech hanger, clearance for up to 32mm tyres, and enclosed fork dropouts that not only improve airflow, but also add to strength and rigidity at the front axle, an area that is subject to high stresses during rapid descending.

The Gusto GTR is UCI-approved for professional racing and built to the very highest of standards. Its exceptional strength and resilience are backed by Gusto’s Lifetime Frameset Warranty, a testament to the brand’s confidence in their engineering.

Despite its premium quality and finishes, the GTR offers incredible value for money. Thanks to Gusto’s vertically integrated production – from in-house carbon fibre manufacture to assembly in Slovenia – the brand delivers a world-class bike without the usual price tag.

Each GTR model is equipped with a full Shimano groupset, Prologo saddle, and meticulously finished with ANP Aurora Nano Paint. This next-generation coating enhances brightness by 40%, increases durability, and improves resistance to scratches and stains. Sophisticated paintwork designs add to the GTR’s distinctive premium feel, with a deep lustre to match.
