The new Kinesis 4S (4 Season) is the ideal bike for all year riding in UK conditions. Kinesis have worked hard to take their award winning R1 frameset and improve every detail.

The Kinesis 4S frameset is an evolution of the proven frame and fork as the highly praised, group test-winning Kinesis R1 bike which Cycling Plus magazine proclaimed had “Understated class and excellent ride quality” and BikeRadar.com said had “instant zing when pressing the pedals”.

The lightweight premium aluminium frame provides a responsive ride feel, and the impeccable weld quality and attention to detail ensure high standards. Additionally, the new internal down tube cable routing keeps the bike clean and easy to service. No matter whether you like to tackle big climbs, bomb fast descents, or get your head down on the flat roads then the Kinesis 4S will get you there with ease.

Kinesis UK’s experience spans more than two decades of aluminium frame design. Drawing on this they created the 4S with a lightweight double-butted 6061 series aluminium tube-set, for a blend of performance and comfort, with a 27.2mm seat post for additional compliance.

The 4S features the Kinesis “Rider Fit Geometry”, which has been developed for comfortable all-day rides.  Good alloy frames have rightly earned their place with a ride quality can easily trump that of cheap carbon frames.

The Kinesis 4S features mounts for mudguards and pannier racks, with clearance for 32mm tyres with full mudguards fitted for clean winter riding.  Without mudguards there is ample clearance for tyres up to 36mm in width.

Up front a custom full “UD carbon” fork keeps weight low and takes out road buzz whilst feeling direct and accurate at all times.
