2019 Kinesis G2 – “Go To”

Following the huge success of the Tripster AT and ATR Kinesis wanted to offer a bike that was even more versatile, in that it was equally suited to on and off road riding, but no less practical when it comes to strapping on luggage or mudguards etc.

The Kinesis G2 is nimble, fast handling and plenty tough enough for the rough and tumble of UK gravel riding, but it’s also a great bike for fast riding over paved roads – especially when the surface gets rough, wet, or pot-holed.

The G2 is a classic do-it-all bike – more capable than a road bike; more comfortable than a ‘cross bike; more versatile than an out and out adventure bike.

Two decades of bike design have taught Kinesis to never stand still and to question everything they see and do to make better product for riders.  What worked ten years ago may not be suitable for today’s rider, so their range is constantly evolving.

This has lead to the new ‘Kinesis Rider Fit Design’ process.  A semi sloping frame on the smallest bike has not only reduced the stand over height but has also brought the comfort in line with our larger models.

Short chain-stays alongside a revised position with a lower head-tube and slightly longer reach than the more adventure-focused Tripsters, gives the G2 outstanding road characteristics.

40c tyre clearance (38c with a full mudguard) and the low bottom bracket make its extremely capable off road.  While flared handlebars, short stem and full rack mounts mean the Kinesis G2 bike is ready for adventure.

  • Internal cable routing
  • Shimano flat mount inboard rear disc caliper mount
  • Rear Axle 12 x 142 mm / Front Axle 12 x 100 mm
  • Rack and bottle cage mounts
  • BB: 68 mm BSA
