MARIN

Marin Bikes carry the strapline ‘Made For Fun’. Since the first mountain bikes bearing the Marin Bikes name debuted in 1986, the brand has been dedicated to enriching the lives of riders by making fun, high calibre bicycles, which  provide years of riding enjoyment. They operate, in their words, a business based on hard work, fuelled by passion, and fulfilled by the satisfaction of bringing the joy of cycling to riders across the world.

Marin County was the birthplace of modern mountain biking, and Marin Bikes are the only company from that era still operating independently, and still based there – using the terrain of California and the streets of San Francisco to test and perfect their range of innovative bikes.  Marin Bikes are small compared to some monolithic modern day cycling corporations, but they punch well above their weight thanks to a small, dynamic and passionate team that lives and breathes Marin County.

Whether your idea of fun involves riding rugged trails to that high alpine lake, pinning on a race number and entering your first race, taking the long way home on your commuter bike, bikepacking to that remote campsite, or just exploring local bike paths, Marin brings the fun to your ride.  It’s the principle that guides them when developing new bikes, from long-travel, trail-devouring machines that are at home in some of the world’s most challenging race circuits to the multi-surface capable pavement collection.

Each model is designed to be playful (a word we use often when talking about Marin) and to maximize the opportunities for two-wheeled fun – at Epic Cycles we’ve cherry picked the Marin portfolio, which is simply huge, to focus on and stock those models that bring something different, distinctive or category leading to our range.
