Adventures can take you anywhere, and the Orbea Occam LT (Long Travel) is ready for anything. Light and seriously tough with aggressive geometry, this is a bike for pushing your limits and enjoying yourself. Even on the rowdiest trails, the progressive suspension is smooth and supportive, and works perfectly with coil shocks. Orbea’s improved “Steep and Deep” design is deeper than ever, with full insertion for a 230mm dropper on all frames.

Occam LT puts riders in the perfect position to attack the trail. Of course, Attitude Adjust lets you tune Occam LT in a bit to suit whatever adventures you have in mind.
Attitude Adjust lets you tune the Occam LT to suit whatever adventures you have in mind. With Orbea’s new Quick Flip system, changing from High to Low takes just a few seconds. The clever, offset design means you only need to slacken the bolt, using the 6mm hex tool in the rear axle, and pull slightly upwards on the top tube. It takes less than 15 seconds.
TECHNICAL FEATURES
Occam LT Travel
160mm travel front and 150mm rear. The Occam LT’s concentric pivot suspension delivers a controlled, linear-progressive feel when the trail gets rough. Balanced anti-squat and anti-rise keep it efficient under power and stable on the brakes.
Occam Head Angle Adjustment
The headset angle is easily adjustable using the offset headset cup. You can adjust the angle by +/- 0.75º, allowing you to slip into a more slack position for steeper tracks or more aggressive runs.
Occam Hydro
Choose from High modulus, high-strength OMR carbon fibre, and advanced carbon manufacturing techniques, or for riders who prefer aluminium, the High Polished Alloy Occam LT, which is simply the best aluminium frame you can buy, with the bonus of that carbon-look.
STEEP'N'DEEP
Due to the Occam LT’s uninterrupted, steep seat-tube all riders should be able to fully insert an astonishing 230mm dropper in their Occam. Drop your saddle right out of the way on the descents, giving more space to more your body and more control.
OTHER FEATURES
- ASYMETRIC DESIGN. The offset frame brace allows Orbea to remove material whilst tightly controlling stiffness and lowering weight. It also means that easy access is maintained to full sized bottles, and it looks pretty cool too!
- HEADSET CABLING. Re-designed headtubes mean that you can choose from internal or external headset cabling.
- LOCKR. Whether you choose Aluminium or Carbon you can enjoy the advantages of Orbea’s updated LOCKR with easier access than ever. Store tools, lunch or even a jacket easily behind the water bottle mount ready for easy access at the flick of a lever.
- STEALTHY & PROTECTIVE. Cables are fully guided from the rear to the LOCKR storage compartment, and from there it is easy to reach the headtube if you ever have to replace a cable outer.
- FULLY SEALED BEARINGS. Fully sealing the bearings protects them from dirt and makes sure that everything lasts longer and keeps working smoothly even when the conditions are filthy.
- INTEGRATED CHAINGUIDE. Light and simple, the integrated chainguide offers enough protection to make sure you don’t drop your chain on the roughest trails.
- ENJOY THE SILENCE. The Occam uses custom co-moulded plastic protectors to shield the frame from impacts and remove chain noise. Cable noise is eliminated using internal cable guides, improved silicon plugs at the frame entry and exit points and clever conduits linking the front and rear triangle.
- PROGRESSIVE TRAIL SUSPENSION. The Occam LT has always been famous for its climbing ability and that hasn’t changed. With around 30% progressivity the Occam balances finding grip with composure on the bigger hits. It also works well well with coil shocks.

The Occam LT comes with wide and tough MC (Mountain Control) wheelsets from OQUO, maximising grip and reliability.
MyO CUSTOM COLOURS & OPTIONS
Orbea’s MyO (MyOrbea) programme enables riders to personalize their bikes to an extent that is unique in the bike industry. The Occam LT M-LTD and M10 are available with a fully custom coloured frameset at no extra cost – painted and assembled entirely at Orbea’s headquarters in Mallabia, in the heart of the Basque Country. MyO coloured bikes usually take a little longer to arrive than a standard colour, for obvious reasons, but the result will be unique to you.
The on-line MyO custom design app is straightforward and slick, offering a massive number of the frame colour combinations, and is great fun to use.
