Beautifully Balanced All-Round Road Bike
The Wilier Garda is an ideal bike for those riders who want an elegant all-rounder that is suited to everything from long days in the saddle to a fast evening group ride. Wilier has redesigned its impressive entry-level carbon race bike with up to date features, such as internal cable routing and the clearance for larger volume tyres that comes from a disc brake only frameset.
The Wilier Garda frame is crafted from NH-MOD carbon, which combines 24-ton and 30-ton carbon fibres for a balance of strength, comfort and light weight. It is very much at the performance end of the road bike market, but is a bike that prioritises comfort, stable handling and practicality.
The Garda features total cable integration, with cables routed inside the frame for a clean and elegant look, with a new Stemma stem that directs the cables and hoses into the frame, but remain detachable when packing the bike for travel.
The Wilier Garda comfortably accommodates 32 mm tyres, which enhance comfort and grip, while reducing rolling resistance on typically rough British roads.
The latest Garda is designed with a slightly less aggressive geometry than Wilier’s dedicated road racing bikes, but still delivers a high performance riding position – the Garda is firmly aimed at the rapid end of the endurance bike market.
