WORKSHOP/SERVICE: During the Covid-19 pandemic our service department will be operating a restricted service, and will only be able to accept bookings for bikes that were purchased from Epic Cycles.
All service bikes MUST be booked in advance by calling 01584 705042, and be left in a clean condition.
All service bikes will be held in quarantined, untouched, for 48 hours before being worked on.
We offer three standard workshop service packages, ranging from an Essentials Service that is ideal before you take on a big event, trip or period of regular riding, to a full Major Service, where your bike is stripped down to the frameset with all parts being inspected and refreshed (including new bar tape and cables) before being re-assembled and tuned up.
During the peak season from March until September we book up very quickly with workshop appointments, so please contact us well ahead of time to check if we have any free service slots available. During peak season we may not have any service bookings available for bikes that were not originally purchased from us (naturally, we have to prioritise the needs of our existing customers).
All labour and lubricant costs are included. Any parts that need replacing are excluded (unless stated otherwise) – we will of course contact you to discuss options and confirm prices with you before any new parts are fitted. We will not continue with any work until we have spoken to you first, so accurate contact details are essential. Any worn/broken parts will be disposed of unless otherwise requested. Your bike must be collected within two weeks of being serviced or repaired. We reserve the right to charge for storage if bikes are not collected within a reasonable time.
Please bring your bike in a clean state – we will clean/de-grease the internal components of your bike (where stated), but a full bike wash to remove dirt and grime from the frameset and wheels etc of your bike will be charged at £15, if needed. We will advise you of the need to conduct a full clean before proceeding with any service work.
An Essential Service is recommended after 6 weeks of riding with all new bikes, to ensure that components have bedded in correctly with real world use. An annual Essentials Service is free of charge for the first three year to the original purchaser on all bikes purchased from ourselves, as well as the initial 6 week check up. Details here >>

**Does not include suspension, shocks or pivot servicing (we can add this service for additional cost – please enquire about cost when booking your service as prices vary with brand/model)
*** Some bearing types are sealed and not accessible for re-greasing. A small number of complex hub models are serviceable but require specialist services – we can provide these services but they will incur additional labour charges (you will be advised of this in advance).
