ORBEA TERRA ALLOY
Orbea Terra Alloy
Versatile all-road/gravel bike
The Orbea Terra Alloy (or ‘Hydro’ – after its hydroformed aluminium tubing) range is more than just a metal copy of its stablemate, the Terra Carbon. Sure, it shares the proven all-road geometry of the Terra Carbon, and also uses the same refined carbon fork, but the frame was designed from the bottom up to offer riders a bike that exploits the specific properties of high quality aluminium tubing to provide a ride that is both engaging and super stable over the roughest of ‘roads’, whether paved, gravel or dirt.
The Terra Hydro is a super versatile bike – like its Carbon sibling the Terra’s geometry offers stable handling and all-day comfort over all manner of surfaces, whether riding all-out, commuting, or kicking back and enjoying the journey. It is nimble over twisty routes and paths, thanks to a full carbon fork that offers accurate steering and a stiff rear end that lets you put the power down when pulling away or rolling the bike over obstacles.
The frameset is equipped with a full set of eyelets for mudguards and a rack, as well as being ideal for attaching modern bike-packing bags if you are looking to get well off the beaten path – and it’s tough enough to take the knocks of off road adventuring while still being light enough to really clip along when you’re lightly loaded.
The 2021 Terra marries cool looks with a build quality and design that delivers a brilliantly capable, reliable and engaging bike – however and wherever you plan to ride.
